Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for intakto (the “Service”), operated by HumanOps B.V. (“we”, “us”). It covers our 14-day money-back guarantee, your statutory rights as a consumer in the European Union and European Economic Area, and how business customers are treated.
1. The 14-day money-back guarantee
1.1. If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may ask for a full refund of your first payment within 14 days of that payment. You do not need to give a reason.
1.2. To request it, email hello@intakto.eu from the address on your account, or use the contact details on your Lemon Squeezy receipt. We will arrange the refund through our Merchant of Record (see Section 4).
1.3. After a refund of your first payment, access to the Service ends. In every case, your server and your data stay yours: you may request an export before access ends, as described in the Terms of Service.
2. Your statutory right of withdrawal (consumers)
2.1. If you are a consumer (a natural person acting outside your trade, business, or profession), EU consumer law gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal for a distance contract. This statutory right exists in addition to the money-back guarantee in Section 1 and is never reduced by it.
2.2. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded for a service.
2.3. To withdraw, send us a clear statement (for example by email to hello@intakto.eu) that you wish to withdraw. You may, but do not have to, use the model withdrawal form in the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
2.4. Starting the Service during the cooling-off period. If you ask us to begin providing the Service during the 14-day period, you acknowledge that, under EU consumer law, once the service is fully performed you may lose the statutory right of withdrawal, and that if you withdraw after performance has begun you may owe a proportionate amount for what was supplied up to that point. The money-back guarantee in Section 1 is more generous, so in practice an eligible consumer who asks within 14 days receives a full refund of the first payment.
3. Business customers
3.1. If you use the Service for purposes within your trade, business, or profession, you are a business customer and the statutory consumer right of withdrawal in Section 2 does not apply to you. The 14-day money-back guarantee in Section 1 still applies to your first payment.
3.2. After the first 14 days, the rules in Section 4 below on renewals and non-refund of started periods apply to you, subject to mandatory law.
4. After the first 14 days
4.1. The subscription is EUR 29 per month, paid in advance, and renews automatically. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals.
4.2. Payments for a monthly period that has already started are generally not refunded after the 14-day window, except where mandatory consumer law requires a refund (for example where the Service was materially defective and not fixed within a reasonable time). This does not affect your statutory remedies for non-conformity.
4.3. If we make a material change that significantly reduces the core function of the Service, or if we end the Service, you may cancel and, where appropriate, receive a refund for the unused, paid-for period.
5. How refunds are processed: Merchant of Record
5.1. Payments and refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy acting as Merchant of Record, the seller of record for your purchase. Lemon Squeezy issues the invoice, collects and remits applicable EU VAT, and processes refunds.
5.2. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or card provider; it is usually a few business days after the refund is issued.
5.3. Refunds are made in euro (EUR). We are not responsible for currency-conversion differences or fees applied by your own bank.
6. How to contact us
For any refund question, email hello@intakto.eu. Please include the email on your account and your Lemon Squeezy order or receipt number, if you have it.
7. Your other rights
This Policy does not limit your mandatory rights under the consumer law of your country of residence in the EU or EEA, including remedies for a service that does not conform to the contract. Where this Policy conflicts with those mandatory rights, those rights prevail.
