Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how HumanOps B.V. (“we”, “us”, the “Company”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the intakto website and Service (the “Service”). Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used.
2. Our current position
We use only strictly necessary cookies and similar storage required to run the website and the Service. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, we do not build advertising profiles of you, and we do not sell your data. Because we set only strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is required at present. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example analytics), we will first ask for your consent through a cookie banner and update this Policy.
3. The categories we may use
3.1. Strictly necessary (in use)
These cookies are required for the Service to work. They keep you signed in, secure your session, remember your privacy choices, and balance load. The Service cannot function properly without them, so they do not require consent under EU law.
3.2. Functional (only with consent)
These cookies remember preferences you set, such as language or interface choices, to give you a better experience. We would set them only with your consent where consent is required.
3.3. Analytics (not in use)
If we ever use analytics, these cookies would help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We would set non-essential analytics only after you give consent, and we would prefer privacy-friendly, EU-based measurement.
4. Cookies set by others
Some cookies may be set by service providers acting for us, for example our payment provider during checkout. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy acting as Merchant of Record; its checkout may set cookies under its own terms. See the Cross-Border Payment Terms and the Privacy Policy.
5. How long cookies last
Cookies are either:
- session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser; or
- persistent cookies, which stay for a set period or until you delete them.
Strictly necessary cookies last only as long as needed for the session or security. Functional and analytics cookies, where ever used, would have defined lifetimes that we keep as short as is reasonable.
6. Your choices
6.1. Where consent is required, we will ask for it through a cookie banner before setting any non-essential cookies. You can accept, reject, or change your choice at any time.
6.2. You can also control cookies through your browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.
6.3. Withdrawing consent does not affect cookies already set; clear them in your browser to remove them.
7. Legal basis
We set strictly necessary cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure Service. We would set all other cookies only with your consent, as required by EU law and Dutch law implementing the ePrivacy rules. Any personal data processed through cookies is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy. For material changes we will update the “Updated” date above and, where appropriate, ask for renewed consent.
